Kia Motors Relaunches Integrated Mobile Customer App 'KIA VIK'

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyewon] Kia Motors has newly renewed and launched the integrated mobile customer app 'KIA VIK' by reflecting changes in the mobile environment and user trends, as well as actual customer usability feedback over the past two years, and is conducting a customer appreciation event.


The event, held three times from the 10th until January 29 of next year, is open to all customers who have signed up for the 'KIA VIK' app, and participants can enter through the event page within the app during each event period.


The newly introduced 'KIA VIK' app features an intuitive reorganization of the most frequently used menus by customers, and strengthens personalized services that allow users to immediately view vehicle ownership information, consumable management, and maintenance progress (service center) upon login.


In addition, for not only vehicle owners but also customers interested in Kia, a new 'Vehicle Purchase' menu has been added to improve convenience by enabling users to access various information such as new car details, test drive reviews, online quotes, test drive reservations, and dealership visits directly within the app.


As a token of appreciation to customers, Kia plans to hold a generous prize event for two months, offering app users prizes such as Styler clothing care devices, the latest foldable smartphones, laptops, and more.


Launched in 2018, KIA VIK is the first and only integrated mobile app in the domestic automotive industry that allows management of the entire 'Car Life' process?from vehicle purchase to maintenance?using just a smartphone. It is Kia's representative online channel with 1.57 million registered users within two years of its launch.
