Green Aloe Gwangju 2nd Branch Joins 'Nanum Myeongmun Company' Program

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The second Gwangju Sharing Prestigious Company has been established.


The Gwangju Community Chest of Korea announced on the 9th that Green Aloe Co., Ltd., a specialized aloe company led by CEO Jeong Gwangsuk, has joined the Sharing Prestigious Company program.


The Sharing Prestigious Company program is a specialized donation program for medium-sized and small businesses that donate more than 100 million KRW or pledge payment within three years.


It is a corporate donor group that leads sharing in Korea and presents a desirable role model for corporate social responsibility.


Attendees at the event included Park Wonmin, Vice President of Green Aloe; So Jeongmi, Executive Director; Kim Jaegyu, Chairperson of the Citizen Participation Committee of the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea; and Lee Seongdo, Secretary General of the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea.


Green Aloe Co., Ltd. is a company that won the National Brand Award in the aloe health functional food category for three consecutive years in 2020 and has been actively engaged in various social contributions while always being with the local community.


They conduct exemplary corporate social responsibility activities, including participation in the year-end Hope Sharing Campaign, support for social welfare institutions, and active participation of executives and employees in volunteer activities.


Vice President Park Wonmin said, “I am very pleased to join as a Sharing Prestigious Company today,” and added, “Green Aloe will become a Sharing Prestigious Company that strives to improve the health of the underprivileged.”


Kim Jaegyu, Chairperson of the Citizen Participation Committee of the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea, said, “The Fruit of Love promises to continue as a partner of companies,” and added, “We hope that the culture of sharing will spread further through Green Aloe’s joining the Sharing Prestigious Company program.”
