On December 7th, an artificial intelligence project presentation was held at the Asia Economy Education Center in Chungmuro. The event, themed "AI Deep Learning-Based Natural Language Processing Text Analysis," featured 12 executives from Shinhan Futures Lab nurturing companies, including Wonsofdtim (CEO: Lee Dae-ho), DoYouBe (CEO: Son Hyun-gon), Wayne Hills Ventures (CEO: Lee Soo-min), MobileTong (CEO: Kim Hyung-woo), QuaraSoft (CEO: Byun Chang-hwan), BogoPlay (CEO: Ryu Seung-tae), VisualCamp (CEO: Park Jae-seung), Eolmaya (CEO: Jeon Hyun-gi), and Spiceware (CEO: Kim Geun-jin), who participated as judges to add tension, aiming to select outstanding trainees as new employees.
The grand prize was awarded to the BeautyPedia team (members: Jung Seok-mok, Baek Ji-won, Ahn Hanna, Park Jae-yoon, Jung Yoo-jung, Kim Yong-hyun) for their presentation on "Cosmetic Product Analysis Report (Summary Model Based on Cosmetic Reviews)." The judging panel praised the project, stating, "There is high demand in business, making it highly practical. Data collection and sampling were well conducted, and the traces of thoughtful consideration and high completeness were impressive."
The BeautyPedia team shared their thoughts: "Through the course, we were able to learn the languages necessary for coding, and the various practical exercises within the course helped us study the libraries needed for the topic, which was a great help." They added, "We are proud that team members with shared interests prepared the plan and fully carried out their respective roles, resulting in good outcomes."
The Excellence Award went to the I Am a Natural Person team for their presentation on "NLP-Based Music Analysis," while the Merit Awards were given to the Harusari team (Value Analysis of Corporate Product Groups) and the Eungeunhan Yeojeong team (2021 Meal Kit Trend Report).
This project presentation was particularly significant as the final project of a five-month intensive practical training program. Immediately after the presentations, interviews were conducted to hire graduates as new employees, showcasing the Asia Economy Education Center’s employment-focused program.
Company representatives who participated in the presentation expressed satisfaction, saying, "We hope there will be more opportunities to communicate with trainees. It helps us assess the capabilities of prospective new employees and plan future recruitment. For the next cohort, we plan to invite them directly for field training or company visits."
The director of the Asia Economy Education Center stated, "Due to COVID-19, the IT/AI fields are gaining attention across society, and corporate interest is increasing. We hope to nurture many prepared practical talents who can become new growth engines for companies and foster a win-win relationship that grows together."
Meanwhile, the Asia Economy Education Center has been selected as a vocational training institution by the Ministry of Employment and Labor for seven consecutive years, producing about 350 graduates annually. Currently, they are recruiting students for a 900-hour K-Digital AI practical course designed for non-majors.
