[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyewon] LG Electronics announced on the 6th that it participated in Casa Cor, a lifestyle exhibition held in S?o Paulo, Brazil, showcasing LG home appliances including the LG OLED Gallery TV.
Casa Cor, which began in 1987 and is celebrating its 34th anniversary this year, is the largest lifestyle exhibition in Latin America. Experts from various fields such as architecture, design, and landscaping participate in large numbers, and more than 100,000 visitors attend the exhibition annually.
This exhibition was organized with consideration for the difficulty of gathering visitors due to the COVID-19 pandemic, opting to create lifestyle spaces in exhibition containers set up at about 20 locations throughout S?o Paulo city instead of operating a large-scale exhibition hall. LG Electronics set up an exhibition container near Ibirapuera Park, the largest park in Brazil.
LG Electronics exhibited premium home appliances including the LG OLED Gallery TV with its differentiated design that allows the entire TV to adhere closely to the wall, AI DD (Direct Drive) washing machines, InstaView refrigerators, as well as Gallery Design soundbars and XBOOM Go speakers.
The LG OLED Gallery TV is a product tailored to customers’ lifestyle changes who prefer harmony with surrounding spaces. The 65-inch model (with a screen diagonal of approximately 163 centimeters) has a thickness of less than 2 centimeters, integrating the screen, drive unit, speakers, and wall-mount components all within the TV. Unlike conventional wall-mounted TVs, the entire TV adheres closely to the wall without external devices, providing excellent screen immersion and making the installation space more beautiful.
