[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Eun-young] Kim Dae-heon, CEO of Hoban Construction, and former SBS announcer Kim Min-hyung have tied the knot.
On the 5th, former announcer Kim held a private wedding ceremony with CEO Kim at the Four Seasons Hotel Grand Bloom in Jongno-gu, Seoul.
The wedding was held on a small scale with only family and close acquaintances, in compliance with COVID-19 prevention guidelines.
The officiant of the wedding was actor and former National Assembly member Shin Young-kyun. The congratulatory song was performed by Kyuhyun of Super Junior. Also in attendance as guests were Bae Hyun-jin, a member of the People Power Party, Kim Young-bae of the Democratic Party, and Kim Hong-guk, chairman of Harim Group.
Former announcer Kim and CEO Kim attracted attention when their relationship was made public at the end of July. It was reported that they met through an introduction by an acquaintance and started dating in October of last year. Subsequently, rumors of marriage arose last month when former announcer Kim resigned from SBS.
CEO Kim Dae-heon is the eldest son of Kim Sang-yeol, chairman of the Hoban Group, and is the largest shareholder of Hoban Construction, holding 54.73% of its shares.
Former announcer Kim was active as the host of SBS weekend '8 News' and current affairs programs such as 'Curious Story Y' and 'Sports Tonight.'
