[Photo] Oh Seung-rok, Nowon District Mayor, Attends Ceremony for Donation of Children's Praise Piggy Bank from Daycare Center

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the 4th at 3 PM, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, attended the Praise Piggy Bank Donation Ceremony held in the mayor's office.

The Praise Piggy Bank is distributed to daycare centers every May to June and collected from October to December each year.

This year, a total of 4,730 children from 138 daycare centers participated, including 63 public daycare centers, 29 private daycare centers, and 46 home daycare centers in the region.

The donation amount from the 4,730 Praise Piggy Banks collected on this day will be used through the Nowon District Welfare Foundation to support children and youth from vulnerable groups.

The donation ceremony was attended by Mayor Oh Seung-rok, Lee Eun-gi, representative of public daycare centers, Yoon Hye-young, representative of private daycare centers, and Jung Yeon-mo, representative of home daycare centers, followed by the Praise Piggy Bank handover and commemorative photo session.

Mayor Oh Seung-rok expressed his gratitude, saying, “We will make sure that the precious money, collected penny by penny by little hands, is used where it is most needed.”
