[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] Regarding the Blue House's announcement on the 4th of the replacement of ministers from four ministries, including Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Kim Hyun-mi, the People Power Party criticized it as a "re(改)shuffling" but rather a "re(慨·to grieve, to be indignant, to be angry, to lament)shuffling."
People Power Party spokesperson Bae Jun-young said in a statement on the 4th, "There is no will to fix the nearly four years of the Moon Jae-in administration's messed-up governance, no matter how hard you look. This is just a move to change the situation."
He pointed out, "The Minister of Justice Choo Mi-ae, Minister of Foreign Affairs Kang Kyung-wha, and Deputy Prime Minister for Economy Hong Nam-ki, whom the people wanted to replace so badly, were left out of this reshuffle, and the replacement of Minister Kim was also too late," adding, "With 24 failures, the real estate market has already reached an uncontrollable state."
Spokesperson Bae said, "This is still a stubborn 'stubborn reshuffle' and a 'confused reshuffle' that does not listen to calls for government reform," and added, "Seeing this hopeless reshuffle, the people have now given up hope on the government and ruling party."
Meanwhile, on the same day, the Blue House announced the reshuffle of four ministries: the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family.
