Star Friends consists of five animal and vegetable friends who gathered on Earth from different stars to find their dreams: Kiki (Moon Rabbit), Ageo (Ugly Duckling), Bibi (Teddy Bear), Ramu (Llama), and Kolli (Broccoli). Each character has a distinct personality?Kiki with bulldozer-like drive, Ageo full of clumsy charm, kind-hearted Bibi, free-spirited Ramu, and warm-natured Kolli?but they share a story of believing that together they can achieve their dreams.
After first introducing Star Friends on its website in October with character introductions and stories, KB Financial has been expanding customer touchpoints through calendar production and SNS promotions. The new characters have also been placed in meeting rooms used for external meetings at KB Financial's integrated Yeouido headquarters. Star Friends is the result of over a year of review and discussion on the character business that began at the end of last year.
Yoon Jong-kyu, Chairman of KB Financial, has expressed affection for Star Friends by mentioning them directly when communicating with employees. On the 2nd, during an 'e-Town Hall Meeting' with employees, Chairman Yoon said about KB Financial's new character Star Friends, "I felt unfamiliar with 'Kolli,' who resembles broccoli, but I heard that it is surprisingly popular among younger employees, which made me realize how valuable it is to listen to the opinions of the new generation."
