Doosan Solus Donates Functional Cosmetics to Medical Staff at Chung-Ang University Hospital

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] Doosan Solus announced on the 4th that it donated newly launched cosmetics to the medical staff at Chung-Ang University Hospital who have been struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.

A cosmetics delivery event was held on the 2nd at Chung-Ang University Hospital in Dongjak-gu, Seoul, attended by Doosan Solus President Yoon-seok Lee and Chung-Ang University Hospital Director Han-jun Lee.

President Lee said, "We planned to deliver cosmetics to support the medical staff suffering from skin conditions caused by wearing masks and protective suits for a long time," adding, "We will continue to fulfill our corporate social responsibility through various social contribution activities."

The functional derma cosmetics delivered that day were 1,000 units of MySkinSolus Serapium Moist On Cream, worth approximately 40 million KRW.

Jin-kyung Cho, head nurse at Chung-Ang University Hospital, said, "Wearing masks and protective suits has ruined my skin, so receiving derma cosmetics as a gift feels like warm comfort."

Doosan Solus is the only domestic manufacturer of natural ceramides, holding a dominant competitive edge with a 95% market share.

In October, based on 30 years of bio-material development technology, the company launched the derma heritage cosmetic brand MySkinSolus and entered the finished cosmetics market.
