[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] BNK Capital announced on the 4th that it donated COVID-19 prevention supplies to support local residents in countries where its overseas subsidiaries have expanded and to practice sharing management beyond borders.

BNK Capital initiated this project to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 through daily quarantine measures in local communities of its overseas subsidiaries amid concerns over the prolonged global pandemic.

Through this project, BNK Capital delivered a total of 100,000 masks and hand sanitizers, including 30,000 masks to government hospitals in Myanmar, 30,000 masks to government agencies and orphanages in Cambodia, 20,000 masks to designated COVID-19 testing hospitals in Laos, and 20,000 masks to the National Cancer Care Center in Kazakhstan.

Ryu Hee-seok, director of BNK Capital, said, “We prepared this project to provide a small help to neighbors in overseas regions who are struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic,” and added, “BNK Capital will continue to take the lead in fulfilling corporate social responsibility by preparing various support measures in social contribution and finance.”
