"Enough Era and Regional Significance and Architectural and Religious Value"
The 'Former Cheondogyo Imsil Church' has been registered as a cultural heritage site. On the 4th, the Cultural Heritage Administration announced that this building, located in Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk, has been designated as National Registered Cultural Heritage No. 799. It is a hanok-style church built during the modern period. It consists of three buildings: the main building (106.7㎡), the outer building (66.8㎡), and the gatehouse (44㎡). It is evaluated for achieving a unique coexistence of living and religious spaces through its distinctive floor plan and spatial composition. The Cultural Heritage Administration described it as "a representative modern historical and cultural resource of Imsil-gun," noting that it holds significant historical, regional, architectural, and religious value.
