[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Samsung SDS announced executive promotions on the 4th, promoting 1 Vice President, 5 Executive Directors, and 12 Managing Directors.
Samsung SDS stated, "We promoted talents who played a leading role in executing customers' digital transformation based on IT technology and industry experience."
In particular, those with expertise in IT technologies such as AI (Artificial Intelligence), blockchain, cloud, and security, who achieved business results in external projects across various industries, were promoted.
Following last year, two women were newly appointed this year as well.
Executive Director Kang Seok-rip was promoted to Vice President, and Managing Directors Geum Ki-ho, Kim Dong-kwan, Kim Jong-pil, Baek Dong-hoon, and Ahn Dae-jung were promoted to Executive Directors.
Twelve individuals were promoted to Managing Directors: Kim Young-kwon, Head of Digital Finance Consulting Team, Financial IT Business Division; Kim Ik-sang, Head of Electronic Logistics Operation Innovation Team, Electronic Logistics Business Division; Kim Jung-min, Head of Plant Intelligence Group, Intelligent Factory Business Division; Kim Hak-gil, Head of External Execution Group, Development Office; Park Jung-mi, Head of External BA Group, IT Innovation Business Division; Yang Jae-young, Head of AI Service Development Team, Development Office; Yoon Hyo-jin, Head of Security Algorithm Team, Research Institute; Lee Ji-hwan, Head of Planning Team, Blockchain Center; Jung Young-hoon, Head of Electronic SET Cloud Operation Team, Cloud Business Division; Cho Sang-won, Head of Retail Innovation Business Group, Solution Business Division; Choi Kyu-man, Head of Support Team, IT Innovation Business Division; and Han Sang-won, Head of Cost Innovation Group, Cloud Business Division.
