T'way Air Shares Lunchboxes in Volunteer Service... Delivered to Orphanage Children and Paramedics

Non-face-to-face Lunchbox Volunteer Activities Due to COVID-19

T'way Air Shares Lunchboxes in Volunteer Service... Delivered to Orphanage Children and Paramedics

[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] T'way Air announced on the 4th that employees belonging to the in-house volunteer club 'Shwim Volunteer' personally prepared and delivered about 120 lunchboxes for children at an orphanage and 119 paramedics.

Until last year, T'way Air had been visiting orphanages directly to carry out cooking volunteer activities for the children, but this year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic making face-to-face volunteer work difficult, they replaced it with lunchbox sharing volunteer activities.

In particular, this year, in addition to the children at the orphanage, lunchboxes of support were also delivered to 119 paramedics who have been struggling due to COVID-19. The lunchboxes included bulgogi, stir-fried fish cakes, rolled omelets, and T'way Air employees took charge of both preparing and delivering the lunchboxes.

A T'way Air official said, "We carefully prepared the lunchboxes hoping that the warm meals would be a great comfort in the cold weather," and added, "We will continue to carry out warm sharing activities that T'way Air can do in the future."
