Starfield Goyang Expands Parking Lot to Accommodate 1,000 Vehicles

Basement to be Parking Lot, Public Library Scheduled to Open Above Ground
Over 50 New Brands Opening, Offering Various Benefits

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] Starfield Goyang is expanding and reopening its parking lot with a capacity of 1,000 cars. Along with this, a renovation event will be held from the 5th to the 13th.

Shinsegae Property announced on the 4th that Starfield Goyang will add a large-scale underground parking lot beneath Dongsan Flower Viewing Park to provide a more convenient shopping environment and will open it free of charge.

Starfield Goyang has maintained close communication and cooperation with Goyang City since last year to expand the parking lot. The newly opened parking lot will be free for all visitors during the day, and at night (from 10 PM to 8 AM), approximately 250 parking spaces will be provided free of charge to nearby residents experiencing parking difficulties.

Additionally, a public library where visitors can enjoy reading and cultural activities will be built above ground.

To commemorate the opening of the expanded parking lot, Starfield Goyang will hold an event celebrating the opening of over 50 new brands.

At the ‘Lego’ Christmas Zone, visitors can write the gifts they wish to receive on postcards and put them in a mailbox; winners will be drawn and given presents in the ‘Christmas Wish Event.’ Also, by taking a photo with the Christmas tree located in the passageway connected to the parking lot and uploading it to Instagram, visitors can receive food and beverage (F&B) coupons in the ‘Christmas Tree Photo Certification’ event.

At the ‘BMW’ showroom, various vehicles will be displayed in a relay format during the event period, and prizes will be given through a roulette event. The party supplies specialty store ‘Joy Party’ will hold a Christmas goods exhibition, with special discount events on representative products at each booth.

New stores opened this year, such as Shooting Monster, Kuern, and Olive Young, will celebrate the renovation with special promotions. Additionally, fashion company Shinwon’s family sale, Shinsegae Factory fur special exhibition, overseas brand exhibitions, and various fashion brand events will be held, along with renovation commemorative promotions at about 100 stores within the Goyang branch.
