[Photo] Seoul Milk Sponsors Children at Dongdaemun-gu Community Child Center

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Seoul Milk Cooperative (Chairman Moon Jin-seop) visited Dongdaemun-gu Office on the 3rd and signed a milk sponsorship agreement with Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor Yoo Deok-yeol).

Seoul Milk Cooperative decided to sponsor 8,000 milk cartons per month (200ml each, total equivalent value of 167.04 million KRW) to local children's centers in Dongdaemun-gu for two years to help strengthen the immunity of children using the centers.

The milk provided monthly will be delivered to the Dongdaemun-gu Food Bank and primarily supplied to 13 local children's centers, with any remaining quantity allocated next to low-income children in the area.

Seoul Milk Cooperative, which is promoting various social contribution projects for low-income groups, will expand its welfare business opportunities through this agreement.

Moon Jin-seop, Chairman of Seoul Milk Cooperative, said, "During a time when strengthening immunity is more necessary due to COVID-19, I hope the children stay healthy by drinking the sponsored milk."

At the signing ceremony, Lee Hyung-kwan, Director of Welfare and Environment Bureau of Dongdaemun-gu, expressed gratitude, saying, "We thank Seoul Milk Cooperative for opening a healthy future for the children who are the dreams and hopes of Dongdaemun-gu," and added, "Dongdaemun-gu will also strive to be a strong supporter of the children."
