Sharing Delivered for Low-Income Vulnerable Groups in the Region
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Seon-gap) received a donation of ramen for neighbors in need from the International Lions Club District 354-C (Governor Heo Jae-gap) on the 3rd.
The donation ceremony was held with the attendance of Kim Seon-gap, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, Heo Jae-gap, Governor of International Lions Club District 354-C, and related officials.
The donated ramen will be distributed in 30 boxes to the 15 community centers in Gwangjin-gu and delivered to neighbors going through even tougher times due to COVID-19.
The International Lions Club is an international volunteer organization composed of entrepreneurs and office workers, and last year also donated kimchi and goods worth about 5.7 million won to Gwangjin-gu.
Mayor Kim Seon-gap said, “We are grateful for sharing warmth with the residents who are going through difficult times due to COVID-19,” and added, “We will deliver the warm hearts you have conveyed directly to the residents.”
