Spoon Radio Obtains Information Security Management System Certification 'ISMS-P'

Passed 80 Information Security Management System and 22 Personal Information Protection Management System Evaluation Criteria

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Spoon Radio, operator of the personal audio broadcasting platform 'Spoon', announced on the 3rd that it has obtained the 'ISMS-P' certification for information security and personal information protection management system, certified by the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) under the Ministry of Science and ICT.

ISMS-P is a system that certifies that a series of measures and activities for customer information protection and personal information protection comply with nationally accredited certification standards. To obtain this certification, it is necessary to pass conformity evaluations for 80 criteria of the information security management system and 22 criteria of the personal information protection management system.

Spoon Radio has focused on information security since the early stages of its service and acquired ISO/IEC27001 and ISO/IEC27701, ISO information security certifications from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), earlier this year. In addition, it recruited Dr. Shin Dong-hyuk, an information security expert with experience at online companies and startups such as Naver, Coupang, and Daily Hotel, established an information security group, and has been concentrating on strengthening platform security.
