Shinhan Bank Relaunches 'HeyYoung' Platform Targeting People in Their 20s

[Asia Economy Reporter Kangwook Cho] Shinhan Bank announced on the 3rd that it will fully renew and open the 'Hey Young' platform for people in their 20s.

Shinhan Bank optimized the Hey Young platform for the mobile life of the MZ generation by installing specialized services such as the ‘Mobile Coupon Market’ and ‘Hey Young Posting’ and configuring personalized services on the main screen. In addition, considering the convenience of using the application (app), it was reorganized into a rolling-type customized menu.

The Mobile Coupon Market is a service that introduces a mobile coupon trading market for customers in their 20s in line with the recently surging secondhand trend. Users can experience safe and fast coupon transactions, and receive an additional 2% cashback benefit when using the mobile app SOL Pay.

Hey Young Posting serializes customized financial content containing hot investment information of the MZ generation. It presents financial information for university students and young adults in an empathetic way, covering topics from overseas stocks to monthly rent comparison postings for youth housing stability.

Meanwhile, through the ‘Hey Young Merry Moneybox Event,’ 80,000 Starbucks coffee exchange coupons will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis until the 24th. Through the event, customers in their 20s who subscribe to the Hey Young Moneybox, an exclusive product for their age group, for the first time can receive up to 4 Starbucks coupons, and a MacBook Pro, Apple Watch, and AirPods will be given away through a lottery.

A Shinhan Bank official said, “Since the launch of the Hey Young brand last June, we have continuously considered specialized services exclusively for people in their 20s,” and added, “We will continue to develop killer content that can captivate customers in their 20s and provide a financial platform that can be used naturally and familiarly.”
