'1 Year Since Launch' Naver Jisik-in Expert... 400,000 Cumulative Consultations

[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] The number of experts registered on Naver Knowledge iN Expert, which celebrated its first anniversary, has surpassed 6,000, and the number of consultations conducted has exceeded 400,000.

On the 3rd, Naver announced, "Expert, which attempts to connect experts and users, has established itself as a representative professional knowledge consultation platform in the untact era."

Expert is a paid consultation service with professionals. Users can easily receive consultations or lectures from experts through the Naver app, and experts earn income online.

Expert started at the end of last November with three fields: tax, labor, and psychological counseling, and over the course of a year, it expanded to more than 70 fields necessary for daily life, including fortune-telling, education, nutrition & diet, fitness, and asset consulting.

Initially starting with 1:1 messenger-based consultations, Expert has diversified its connection methods to include voice and video consultations, customized live classes, and VOD classes. Currently, about 17,000 professional programs have been conducted. Recently, it also opened online cultural center lectures through an agreement with Hyundai Department Store.

Kang Chunsik, a Naver leader, stated, "Expert, launched as a new attempt to connect with experts, has become a space where users can have new experiences," adding, "We will continue to expand it as a connection platform where anyone with professional knowledge and talent can actively participate in various ways."
