Strengthening Quality Systems of Food Partners and Supporting Small and Medium Enterprises
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Home&Shopping (CEO Kim Ok-chan) announced on the 3rd that it supported non-face-to-face quality management training to improve the quality capabilities of food production and sales partners.
Home&Shopping conducted a "Quality Management Capability Enhancement" training for food partners for 4 hours on the 2nd via a video conference solution in collaboration with the Korea Food Industry Association. About 40 representatives from small and medium-sized partner companies, including Ikim (Hong Jin-kyung Kimchi), Daecheon Kim (Daecheon Kim), and Doyaji Food (Park Soo-hong Galbitang), who sell products on TV home shopping, attended.
Home&Shopping conducts training twice a year to strengthen the quality system of food partners and support small and medium enterprises. This training was the second half of the year session following the first half training held on June 23. The training focused on ▲ Ministry of Food and Drug Safety policy directions ▲ major legal amendments and changes in food labeling standards ▲ understanding key inspection items during hygiene inspections by local governments and the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.
A Home&Shopping official said, "We continuously conduct safety and hygiene education to improve the food quality capabilities of small and medium partners, and the satisfaction of small and medium partners is very high," adding, "We will provide more support for the market competitiveness and mutual growth of small and medium partners."
