[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Midas AI announced that accountants and company officials will visit the United States for three days to conduct due diligence ahead of acquiring shares in the American marijuana company Melrose Facility Management (MFM).
MFM, visited for the acquisition, is known to have increased its sales to 8 billion KRW in the third quarter alone. The company explained that the expected sales for this year will easily exceed 20 billion KRW.
Midas AI stated that they will return to Korea later this week to finalize the report and complete the acquisition negotiations. The company predicted that "sales of marijuana-related products will continue to increase in the COVID-19 era."
