This is the statement of an integrated case manager at the Jungnang-gu Crisis Family Integrated Support Center.

Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi) has taken action to eradicate domestic violence.

On the 1st, the district announced that it broadcast a promotional video for the ‘Jungnang-gu Crisis Family Integrated Support Center’ to provide guidance on domestic violence prevention and support for families in crisis through Jungnang-gu’s official YouTube channel.

The ‘Jungnang-gu Crisis Family Integrated Support Center’ has been operated in cooperation between Jungnang-gu Office and Jungnang Police Station since 2018. It connects customized welfare services through case meetings for 1,458 households suffering from domestic violence, neglect, and abuse in the area, receiving high praise from residents.

This video was produced to encourage the use of the ‘Jungnang-gu Crisis Family Integrated Support Center,’ featuring integrated case managers, counselors, and Abuse Prevention Officers (APO) introducing the center’s roles and purposes. It also aims to widely promote ‘Bora Day’ (the 8th of every month), the Domestic Violence Prevention Day established to eradicate domestic violence, to the residents.

Ryu Gyeong-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, said, “This year, as social distancing due to COVID-19 is emphasized and domestic violence may increase, the role of the center within the local community has become more important. We will continue to take the lead in discovering and supporting families in crisis through cooperation with related organizations.”
