Online Concert for Infants and Toddlers on the 11th... Enjoy Familiar Fairy Tales, Children's Songs, Classical Music, and Vocal Pieces
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) will present an online concert from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM on the 11th for young children enrolled in daycare centers who have been withdrawn due to ongoing social distancing measures.
This performance is targeted at daycare centers where community-linked programs are difficult due to social distancing. If social distancing continues to escalate, the concert link will be sent not only to emergency childcare young children but also to the guardians of young children enrolled in daycare centers, allowing families to enjoy the performance at home.
'Jipkok! Exciting Music Journey' uses classical instruments and features familiar fairy tales and children's songs for young children, as well as classical and vocal pieces, designed to allow online access to classical instruments.
To apply, one daycare center director or representative childcare teacher can pre-register on the Eunpyeong-gu Childcare Comprehensive Support Center website. The day before the performance, they will receive the concert link via text message and can watch during the scheduled performance time.
Detailed information about the 'Jipkok! Exciting Music Journey' non-face-to-face event for young children can be found on the Eunpyeong-gu Childcare Comprehensive Support Center website. (Log in as a facility member on the Childcare Comprehensive Support Center website → Education and Events → Daycare Center Support → Click on the relevant date and performance → Apply online)
Kim Mi-kyung, Mayor of Eunpyeong-gu, said, “I hope that young children who have been unable to experience on-site activities or cultural and artistic performances due to social distancing can enjoy a pleasant time through this online concert. The Childcare Comprehensive Support Center will act as a bridge to help maintain a positive relationship between daycare centers and families.”
