Mercedes-Benz Expands and Relocates Hannam Showroom and Service Center


[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Mercedes-Benz Korea announced on the 2nd that it has expanded and relocated its Hannam showroom and service center to provide Seoul-area customers with excellent accessibility and comfortable services.


The newly renovated Hannam showroom and service center has a total floor area of 7,995m2 (approximately 2,418 pyeong), with 7 floors above ground and 4 floors underground. It can display a total of 22 vehicles, features 7 work bays, and a customer parking lot that can accommodate over 60 vehicles, enabling faster and more convenient customer service.


In particular, it offers various advantages such as a total area 2.5 times larger than the previous facility, a parking lot more than 3.7 times bigger, and a location along the highly accessible Hannam-daero, allowing customers to experience vehicles and services in a more comfortable environment and with easier access.


Moreover, the Hannam showroom enables diverse and differentiated brand experiences. First, the ‘Exclusive Lounge,’ a dedicated space for Mercedes-Maybach customers, provides premium services such as product experience and consultations in a luxurious and cozy private space.


Additionally, the ‘AMG Performance Center,’ a dedicated exhibition space for Mercedes-AMG vehicles, has been established. Customers can experience the intense and dynamic brand of Mercedes-AMG through the display of Mercedes-AMG vehicles, exclusive Mercedes-AMG accessories, and a sound system that allows them to enjoy the Mercedes-AMG exhaust sound. Notably, the ‘AMG Gaming Zone,’ where customers can indirectly experience vehicles through actual test drives and racing games, has been introduced for the first time in Korea and is scheduled to operate starting January next year.


Jomung Ah, Vice President of Network Development and Digital House at Mercedes-Benz Korea, said, “We expect that Mercedes-Benz customers will enjoy not only excellent accessibility but also enhanced premium customer services at the newly renovated Mercedes-Benz Hannam showroom and service center.” He added, “Mercedes-Benz Korea plans to continuously invest in strengthening its network to improve customer convenience and provide diverse brand experiences.”


To commemorate this expansion and relocation, the Mercedes-Benz Hannam showroom and service center will offer benefits throughout December, including free tire inspection services for visiting customers, up to 40% discount on original tires, 15% discount on antifreeze and batteries, up to 20% discount on Mercedes-Benz accessories & collection products, and will give souvenirs on a first-come, first-served basis.


Meanwhile, Mercedes-Benz Korea operates the largest network and infrastructure among imported car single brands, with a total of 59 official showrooms nationwide, 71 official service centers, 22 official certified used car showrooms, and more than 1,200 work bays.
