[Asia Economy Reporter Wondara] On the preliminary gathering day for the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT), the 2nd, morning temperatures are expected to drop below freezing in most regions.


According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 1st, the lowest morning temperatures on the 2nd are forecasted to range from -6°C to 6°C, and the highest daytime temperatures from 4°C to 14°C.


From morning to afternoon, sporadic snow is expected in the mountainous areas of Gangwon and Jeju Island.


Other regions will have occasionally cloudy skies, with the southern regions expected to be mostly clear from midday.


Fine dust levels are expected to be between 'Good' and 'Moderate' across all areas. However, Chungbuk is anticipated to experience temporarily 'Bad' levels in the morning.


Sea waves will be 0.5 to 1 meter in the East Sea coastal waters, 0.5 to 1 meter in the West Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 1 meter in the South Sea coastal waters.


The Korea Meteorological Administration stated, "Dryness warnings are currently in effect for the Yeongdong area of Gangwon, the Gyeongsang coast, and the eastern part of Jeonnam," and urged, "Careful attention is needed to prevent various fires such as wildfires."
