On the other hand, overseas markets recorded a decline compared to the same month last year. This decrease was due to reduced production at overseas factories caused by demand contraction from the COVID-19 pandemic.

A Hyundai Motor official stated, "To overcome the crisis caused by the COVID-19 situation, we are preparing countermeasures for each region and making efforts to minimize negative impacts, continuing proactive risk management efforts."
