On the 1st, the National Assembly passed an amendment to the Railway Safety Act that mandates railway operators to install and operate video recording devices in railway vehicle passenger cars.
A legal basis was also established to add measures for improving working conditions to the 'Comprehensive Railway Safety Plan' to prevent safety accidents in which railway workers are injured or killed during track and facility work.
