Shinhan Bank Offers Airline Tickets to Vietnamese Overseas Remittance Customers

[Asia Economy, reporter Kangwook Cho] Shinhan Bank announced on December 1 that it is holding the "Xin cam on (Thank You) Shinhan" overseas remittance event for Vietnamese customers.

This event targets Vietnamese nationals who send overseas remittances of at least USD 300 per transaction to Vietnam until December 31. Customers who meet the remittance amount requirement are automatically entered into the event. Winners will be selected by lottery among eligible customers and will receive: ▲ First prize: two round-trip Vietnam Airlines tickets (1 winner), ▲ Second prize: one round-trip Vietnam Airlines ticket (2 winners). In addition, all foreign customers using Vietnam Airlines will receive a preferential exchange rate coupon valid until May next year.

Customers who designate Shinhan Bank as their main foreign exchange bank for domestic salary remittances can conveniently send money to their home country via the Shinhan SOL Global app for foreign customers or automated devices. They can also benefit from a telegraphic transfer fee discount (KRW 5,000) and a 50-70% preferential exchange rate. For remittances of USD 3,000 or less, the remittance fee is fully waived.

A Shinhan Bank representative stated, "Shinhan Bank is striving to provide fast and convenient remittance services by leveraging our global network," and added, "We will continue to prepare valuable events to offer more benefits to foreign customers working in Korea."
