Expansion of Social Value Promotion Projects through HanaTV Amid Untact Society Growth
'Everyone's Soccer Field, Everyone's K-League' Campaign Supporting Mobility-Disadvantaged Using Raised Donations
[Asia Economy Reporter Kangwook Cho] Hana Financial Group announced on the 1st that the sports donation challenge "HanaGoRound Show Your Talent," conducted together with the Korea Professional Football League and football YouTuber GoAlle, concluded with the Suwon FC players Jo Won-hee and Ahn Byung-jun episode on the 20th of last month.
Launched in June, "HanaGoRound Show Your Talent" is an entertainment-style football donation content where K League national team-level popular stars showcase their football talents and complete related donation missions. The campaign attracted great attention from fans with the participation of the K League social contribution ambassadors and popular YouTuber GoAlle's team.
A total of 15 players from 12 clubs, including Lee Dong-gook (Jeonbuk), Song Min-kyu (Pohang), Eom Won-sang (Gwangju), Lee Woong-hee, and Lee Ji-sol (Daejeon), participated to demonstrate their talents and raised a total donation amount of 41 million KRW through talent-related donation missions.
In particular, donation challenge videos featuring K League representative players’ football skills, such as Lee Dong-gook’s volley shot and dribbling by Lee Dong-jun and Eom Won-sang, garnered over 1.5 million views, capturing fans’ attention.
Hana Financial Group added additional donations to the players’ mission success donations, raising a total fund of 100 million KRW, which will be used to carry out the campaign "Everyone’s Football Field, Everyone’s K League" to foster an inclusive football viewing culture in the K League.
The "Everyone’s Football Field, Everyone’s K League" campaign is a social contribution initiative that lowers informational barriers for football viewing by producing a "K League Stadium Guide for Mobility-Impaired Persons," enabling people with disabilities, the elderly, pregnant women, and others with limited mobility to freely visit K League stadiums. This campaign was first launched in October through collaboration among Hana Financial Group, the Community Chest of Korea, and the K League.
A representative from Hana Financial Group’s Social Value Team stated, "We will continue to grow together through various cooperative projects and strive to further spread Hana Financial Group’s social value of sharing happiness."
