The first-term members of the People Power Party stated in a press release on the 1st, "The president, who is effectively directing the prosecution's investigation while hiding behind Minister Choo, is not answering the public's questions, raising doubts about whether he is qualified to tell public officials to 'put the country before oneself.'"

They raised their voices, saying, "Does President Moon want the prosecution to become his loyal dog? If not, he must immediately dismiss Minister Choo, who is blocking the prosecution's investigation into the power-related corruption gate."

They also emphasized that if he does not want a 'lawless world,' he should find the person responsible for ordering the economic feasibility manipulation of the Wolseong Unit 1 reactor to restore the rule of law, and if he does not want to be remembered as the 'king of election manipulation,' he should reveal the Blue House officials who intervened in the Ulsan mayoral election. They continued, "If he does not treat the people as fools, he must immediately dismiss Chief Secretary for Political Affairs Choi Jae-sung, who is obsessed with early morning soccer, and the Police Commissioner who sympathized with him."

The first-term lawmakers pointed out, "We headed to the Yeonpung Gate of the Blue House to receive answers to the inquiry sent to President Moon, but the Blue House deployed police forces to block the peaceful steps of opposition lawmakers," adding, "Many citizens and vehicles freely passed in front of the Yeonpung Gate of the Blue House, but only opposition lawmakers were prevented from passing."
