[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] Kia Motors announced on the 1st that it will introduce the 'High-Tech Consulting Service,' where professional engineers provide advanced vehicle diagnostics and maintenance.
Starting today, Kia will pilot the 'High-Tech Consulting Service' at 124 AutoQ locations in the Incheon and Gwangju regions, where professional engineers visit the AutoQ designated by customers to conduct detailed vehicle diagnostics. From next year, the company plans to expand this service to over 800 AutoQ locations nationwide.
Previously, specialized vehicle inspection services were mainly conducted at 18 directly operated service centers nationwide, limiting customer accessibility. The newly introduced 'High-Tech Consulting Service' allows customers to easily make reservations through a mobile app and receive advanced vehicle diagnostics and maintenance at nearby AutoQ centers.
Customers wishing to use this service can check available High-Tech service items and apply via Kia's integrated mobile customer app 'KIA VIK' or the Kia Red Members website, then visit the nearest AutoQ.
A Kia Motors official stated, "Now, customers can receive precise diagnostics and inspections from professional engineers at nearby AutoQ centers, which is expected to greatly enhance customer satisfaction. Next year, we will expand the High-Tech Consulting Service nationwide so that customers can access specialized vehicle inspection services through various methods."
Meanwhile, since October, Kia has been operating the non-face-to-face vehicle delivery maintenance service 'K-Delivery' and the premium antibacterial car wash service 'K-Cleaning' in the Seoul metropolitan area, where COVID-19 cases are concentrated. Next year, these services will be expanded nationwide to ensure customers can have their vehicles repaired with greater peace of mind.
