DesignDB Wins Innovation Award at 'AI Awards 2020'

[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] The Korea Institute of Design Promotion announced on the 1st that the design specialized portal site ‘DesignDB’ was honored with the Innovation Award at the i-Awards 2020 (collectively referring to Web Award Korea and Smart App Award).

The i-Awards 2020 is an award ceremony for web and mobile app platforms hosted by the Korea Internet Professionals Association and organized by the i-Awards Committee.

Through a fair and systematic evaluation process conducted by a panel of 4,000 internet professionals, innovative and excellent services are selected and awarded in terms of visual design, UI design, technology, content, marketing, and service aspects.

According to the Design Promotion Institute, DesignDB received high evaluations in service and UI design for its excellent information delivery through data visualization and user-considerate interface construction.

In particular, it earned favorable reviews for providing a large amount of design specialized content such as ‘Success Cases’ summarizing innovative examples of product development using design, domestic and international design reports directly covered by KIDP reporters, and the ‘Design Archive’ where Korean design historical materials can be accessed.
