[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] Hansung University announced on the 1st that Professor Jeong Seok-sun of the Department of Dance won the grand prize in the competition category at the 41st Seoul Dance Festival hosted by the Korean Dance Association. Professor Jeong formed a team called 'Project S' with graduate students enrolled in the Graduate School of Dance at Hansung University and participated by choreographing a piece titled 'Challengers 2.0'. This work depicts 'modern people constantly challenging their reality while fearing an uncertain future' and was created to offer comfort and courage to those living through difficult realities with fears of an uncertain future. Professor Jeong said, "Just as many people have been going through difficult times due to COVID-19, we also faced many trials and tribulations while preparing the work. In a time when we could not predict even a step ahead, we earnestly hoped to complete the performance safely without any incidents. I believe that all the Hansung University graduate and undergraduate students and staff who participated did their best and overcame the challenges well, resulting in a good outcome. I am grateful to everyone who joined us."
