Volvik has released two special edition sets (pictured) to celebrate the Year of the Ox in 2021.
The 4-ball package features the ox, a symbol of wealth and prosperity. The "Golden Ox" edition combines ceramics with design. It depicts an ox wearing a golden mask carrying colored balls on its back as it roams the field. The balls come in ruby, orange, yellow, and green colors. Jihoon Stark, the artist who collaborated on this project, said, "I viewed the image of the ox with the innocent curiosity of a child," adding, "I hope all golfers receive the energy of the ox and find healing."
The "Victory Ox" represents the bull symbolizing success in financial districts such as New York's Wall Street. The ball marker features a silver ox roaring with its head raised against a black background. The vivid colored balls are popular color combinations. The simple and clean case and packaging stand out, making it a popular gift set. Volvik stated, "We hope that next year, like the ox, all golfers will have a prosperous year." The sets are available at major golf shops nationwide.
