[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Professor Kim Jong-won of the Department of Management Information Systems, Information Management at Dong-Eui University (President Han Soo-hwan) received the Best Paper Award at the "2020 Fall Conference of the Korean Society of Industrial Information" held at Daegu University on November 27 and 28, together with Professor Kim Dae-gil of the Department of Media and Communication at Seoul Women's University.
The conference was themed "Digital Transformation and Future Information and Communication Technology." Professors Kim Jong-won and Kim Dae-gil presented a paper titled "The Effect of Users' Perceived Benefits on the Continuous Use of University Online Classes: Focusing on Expectation Confirmation Theory."
Since many universities are operating online lecture systems due to COVID-19, the topic and content were evaluated as timely and relevant.
Professor Kim Jong-won currently serves as the president of the Korean Internet and Electronic Commerce Society and previously served as president of the Korean Society of Industrial Information in 2019 and the Korean Information Systems Society in 2018.
