Dong-A Socio Group Holds 88th Anniversary Celebration Ceremony

[Asia Economy Reporter Cho Hyun-ui] Dong-A Socio Holdings Group held its 88th anniversary ceremony on the 30th at its headquarters in Yongdu-dong, Seoul, ahead of its founding anniversary on December 1.

Han Jong-hyun, President of Dong-A Socio Holdings, said in his commemorative speech, "COVID-19 has accelerated the pace of change, and we must accept and lead change to solve the challenges we face."

Due to the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), only the CEOs of Dong-A Socio Holdings, Dong-A ST, and Dong-A Pharmaceutical, along with eight representatives of long-term employees and contributors, attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, awards were also given to long-term employees and contributors. Twenty-one people, including Choi Seong-rak, Head of the Wholesale Department of Dong-A Pharmaceutical Healthcare Division, received the 30-year service award; seventy-six people, including Park Yong-sang, Head of the Corporate Governance Team at Dong-A Socio Holdings, received the 20-year service award; and eighty-seven people, including Yu Ji-hye, Deputy General Manager of the Development Planning Team at Dong-A ST Development Planning Office, received the 10-year service award.
