[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Kim Jong-in, Emergency Committee Chairman of the People Power Party, stated on the 30th, "Whether the one-person protests in front of the Blue House continue depends on how President Moon Jae-in reacts now," adding, "Outdoor protests will not continue in any special way due to the COVID-19 situation."


Right after the Emergency Committee meeting that day, Kim told reporters that when asked about the possibility of outdoor protests in relation to Joo Ho-young, the floor leader of the People Power Party, mentioning that "if bills that are of no help to the Republic of Korea are expected to pass, we will use all means to block them," he responded as above.


Regarding securing the budget for the third disaster relief fund, Kim said, "If adjustments are made to the budget bill submitted by the government, the necessary budget can be secured."
