[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] On the 3rd of next month, when this year's College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) will be held, below-freezing temperatures are expected nationwide.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 30th, the morning low temperatures on the day of the CSAT are forecasted to be below freezing in most regions across the country. It is predicted to be -2°C in Seoul, -1°C in Daejeon, -4°C in Chuncheon, 0°C in Daegu, and 1°C in Gwangju. The daytime high temperatures will also remain below 10°C, making it cold.

The Meteorological Administration stated, "The possibility of a cold wave warning being issued on the test day is low," but added, "With some wind, the wind chill temperature is expected to feel 1 to 3 degrees lower."

Especially since this year's CSAT day is later than usual, the average temperature is lower, and due to the impact of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), periodic ventilation will be required, so it is important to manage body temperature by wearing thin clothes in layers.
