[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Audi announced on the 30th that it swept five categories in the ‘Auto Trophy 2020,’ selected by readers worldwide of the German automotive magazine ‘Auto Zeitung.’
The Audi models awarded in the ‘Auto Trophy’ were the ‘Audi A1 Sportback,’ ‘Audi A3 Sportback,’ ‘Audi Q2,’ ‘Audi Q8,’ and ‘Audi e-tron Sportback,’ winning respectively in the City Car category, Compact Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) & Cross Country Vehicle category, SUV category under 25,000 euros, Luxury SUV category, and Electric SUV category.
In the City Car category, the ‘Audi A1 Sportback’ took first place with 21.7% support. The ‘Audi A3 Sportback,’ which won first place in the Compact SUV & Cross Country Vehicle category with 15.0% of the votes, received its third award this year following the ‘Autonis 2020’ award selected by readers of ‘Auto Motor und Sport’ and the ‘Golden Steering Wheel’ award hosted by ‘Auto Bild.’

In the SUV category under 25,000 euros, the compact SUV ‘Audi Q2,’ which combines performance and style, won with 17.4% of the votes. The practical model ‘Audi Q8,’ which combines the elegance of a luxury coupe with powerful driving characteristics, took first place in the Luxury SUV category with 13.9% support. In the Electric SUV category, the pure electric vehicle ‘Audi e-tron Sportback’ won first place with 19.0% of the votes.
