[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] KB Kookmin Card announced on the 30th that it has launched the 'KB Kookmin EVO Titanium Card,' an environment, social, and governance (ESG) specialized product that allows participation in eco-friendly consumption through card usage in daily life and enables donations to environmental organizations.

This card offers point accumulation benefits when used in major eco-friendly industries such as electric vehicles and hydrogen vehicles, and points accumulated through card usage can be donated to the Environment Foundation, a public interest foundation specializing in the environment. If issued as a mobile card without a plastic physical card, additional points are accumulated monthly. The card materials use eco-friendly materials such as 'wood sheets' and bio-plastic 'Ecozen sheets,' which emit less carbon during production compared to conventional plastics, and the card plate features an 'antibacterial film.'

If the previous month's usage amount is 500,000 KRW or more, 50% of the amount spent at electric vehicle charging stations and hydrogen vehicle charging stations is accumulated as points. Point accumulation limits based on the previous month's usage are ▲up to 10,000 points per month for 500,000 KRW or more ▲up to 20,000 points per month for 1,000,000 KRW or more ▲up to 30,000 points per month for 1,500,000 KRW or more.

When paying 10,000 KRW or more per transaction at eco-friendly food specialty brands such as Olgahol Food, Biolga, Chorokmaeul, and eco-friendly packaging and delivery shopping malls like SSG.COM and Coupang, 5% of the amount spent is accumulated as points. Points are accumulated up to ▲5,000 points per month for 500,000 KRW or more ▲7,000 points per month for 1,000,000 KRW or more ▲10,000 points per month for 1,500,000 KRW or more, based on the previous month's usage.

Additionally, if issued as a mobile-only card without a plastic physical card and the previous month's usage is 500,000 KRW or more, 1,000 points are accumulated monthly.

This card also includes a donation program that allows participation in eco-friendly sharing activities using points accumulated through card usage. Customers can accumulate donation points up to 10% of the points earned based on their card usage amount according to a pre-set donation rate, and KB Kookmin Card provides matching grant points equal to the donation points accumulated by the customer.

The donation points accumulated by the customer and the additional donation points provided by KB Kookmin Card are delivered to the Environment Foundation under the customer's name and used for public interest activities aimed at solving climate and environmental issues. Customers can choose one of five donation rates: ▲0% ▲1% ▲3% ▲5% ▲10%, and can change the desired rate monthly.

Also, if the previous month's usage is 300,000 KRW or more, the cardholder can use ▲Incheon Airport lounge (twice a year) ▲valet parking services at Incheon Airport and major domestic hotels (3 times per month, 12 times per year) free of charge.

The annual fee for this card is 24,000 KRW when issued as a mobile-only card and 30,000 KRW when a plastic physical card is issued.
