[Asia Economy Reporter Han Seung-gon] On the 27th, a post criticizing President Moon Jae-in was uploaded on the Facebook page 'Kyung Hee University Bamboo Forest' (a university community on Facebook based on anonymity), drawing attention.

The author, a Kyung Hee University student, referred to President Moon Jae-in as a senior and criticized him for being very embarrassing, mentioning the conflict between Minister of Justice Choo Mi-ae and Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-youl, prosecution reform, and the ruling party and president who do not communicate. Another Kyung Hee University student pointed out that the current government does not embrace differing opinions.

At around 9:36 p.m. that day, a post criticizing President Moon was uploaded on the 'Kyung Hee University Bamboo Forest.' The author began by saying, "It is very embarrassing and shameful that President Moon Jae-in and Prosecutor Lee Sung-yoon of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office are alumni of Kyung Hee University."

He then addressed the ongoing conflict between Minister Choo and Prosecutor General Yoon, saying, "Watching the situation between Minister Choo Mi-ae and Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-youl, I often wonder if justice in the Republic of Korea is still alive." He pointed out, "It was President Moon Jae-in who appointed Yoon Seok-youl, who was demoted while investigating Park Geun-hye, as Prosecutor General."

He continued, "When appointing him, they gave him the power to investigate the living power by handing him the sword, but when the blade turned toward the regime and the ruling party in cases like Lime and Optimus, they tightened the noose around the Prosecutor General to prevent the investigation from going in the right direction and even suspended him from duty. Is that really the right thing to do?" he argued, criticizing the current administration. He further questioned, "Should the investigation target only the opposition party, and should investigations into our side be covered up even if there are wrongdoings?"

The author also voiced criticism regarding communication by ruling party figures such as the Democratic Party of Korea. He said, "Are the ruling party and the Minister of Justice only referring to comments on Daum portal site articles, seeing only what they want to see and hearing only what they want to hear? It seems they think that is the opinion of the majority of the people, but I ask you to abandon such arrogant thinking. The people are not that stupid," he emphasized.

He concluded with a plea to President Moon, saying, "President Moon Jae-in has not made any comment on this situation." He added, "Senior!! Both the Minister of Justice and the Prosecutor General are appointees appointed by you. Please handle this situation responsibly so that your juniors will not be ashamed."

Another author also criticized the Moon administration through the same bulletin board. The author said, "It is shameful to have a senior like you," and pointed out, "You say to embrace different opinions, but you suppress other opinions through the number of seats and zealous supporters." He continued, "Remember, a disaster more terrible than a leader's corruption is none other than the leader's incompetence."

This is not the first time university students have criticized the Moon administration. Earlier that day, a post titled "President Park Geun-hye, I am sorry" was uploaded on 'SnuLife,' a portal board exclusively for Seoul National University students and alumni.

The author compared the Park Geun-hye administration and the Moon administration, listing 13 reasons and apologizing to former President Park. This is interpreted as a kind of satire implying that although the Park administration was criticized in the past, it seems better compared to the current Moon administration.

The author opened up about the recent controversy surrounding the disciplinary procedures against Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-youl. He said, "I criticized the dismissal of Chae Dong-wook for having two households, but seeing Yoon Seok-youl being ousted for surveillance this time, I realized that was not even worth criticizing. I am sorry."

Regarding the 2016 Choi Soon-sil political scandal, he said, "I criticized Choi Soon-sil's daughter for being pressured into admission to Ewha Womans University, but seeing the forged documents of Cho Kuk's children, it seems the Asian Games gold medal was earned through sincere effort to get into university." He added, "I criticized the creation of Mir and K-Sports foundations for extorting corporate money, but seeing Optimus and Prime, it seems extorting several trillion won from ordinary citizens is worse than extorting several hundred billion won from corporations."

Meanwhile, the hearing on the suspension of Prosecutor General Yoon's duty will be held today (the 30th). The Administrative Court of Seoul, Administrative Division 4, will conduct a hearing at 11 a.m. on the application for suspension of the effect of the duty exclusion filed by Yoon.

Minister Choo and Prosecutor General Yoon will not attend the hearing, and only their legal representatives will attend to present their respective positions. The legal community expects that considering the urgency and seriousness of the matter, the court is likely to deliver a decision as early as today or at the latest the next day.
