It braves all kinds of dangers and surrenders to the call of nature. Thanks to the mother whale, the baby whale safely completes its first journey. The author expresses the grandeur of the vast ocean and the graceful movements of the giant whale through deep blue charcoal illustrations. ◆A Journey to Find Myself through the Ten Ox-Herding Pictures= The Ten Ox-Herding Pictures (Sipudo, 十牛圖) are a series of ten paintings from the Seon (Zen) Buddhist tradition. They metaphorically depict the process of discovering the true nature of the mind through a young monk's journey to find an ox. The author reinterprets and redraws them from a non-religious perspective. The journey to find oneself is explored through meditation, modern science, philosophy, and literature, highlighting the core of each stage. It guides those who question whether they are living rightly and how to pursue a true life to draw a map of the mind.
