[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Naver has launched 'Clova Note,' a service that converts recorded voice into text using artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
On the 29th, according to Naver, Clova Note is a voice recording service that allows users to 'read and listen' to only the necessary parts by referring to the recorded content converted into text.
A Naver official explained, "In various situations where voice is recorded, such as interviews or business meetings, it can significantly reduce the time and effort spent on transcribing conversations or re-listening to recordings to find necessary information."
By recording directly in the Clova Note app or uploading voice files via the app or PC, the content is converted into text that distinguishes each participant's voice and displayed on the screen.
Clicking on the text of the part you want to check again in voice allows you to listen to the content immediately.
The Clova Note app and PC automatically synchronize, so once recording is finished on the app, you can immediately check the voice record converted into text on the PC.
Clova's AI voice recognition technology 'Clova Speech' applies the 'Nest' engine, specialized in recognizing long sentences such as conversations or lectures, and the 'Wise' engine, which distinguishes participants' voices.
If users specify frequently used words or specialized vocabulary, they can obtain more accurate voice recognition results.
Han Iksang, the lead responsible for Clova Note, said, "Clova is evolving into a service that provides practical help in individuals' daily lives and overall business," adding, "We will expand functions to effectively use Clova Note in more diverse environments such as video conferences and introduce services specialized for corporate environments."
