Proactive Surveillance Activities Including Early Identification of Risk Factors
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Jeonnam Fire Headquarters (Chief Ma Jaeyoon) will take proactive vigilance activities to respond quickly to emergencies during the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) scheduled for the 3rd of next month.
On the 29th, Jeonnam Fire Headquarters announced that it has identified and addressed risk factors at 53 CSAT test sites in the Jeonnam area in advance, and established an initial response system for various accidents, including prior confirmation of dispatch routes for each test site.
On the test day, firefighting resources will be concentrated to prepare for emergency situations, and fire truck sirens will be restrained during test times such as the third period English listening evaluation.
In particular, examinees who are hospitalized, have mobility difficulties, or are in self-quarantine due to COVID-19 and cannot travel by private vehicle can apply in advance for transportation at a nearby fire station, and an ambulance team will transport them on the test day.
For hospitalized and self-quarantined examinees, support will be provided for transportation to the hospital after the test ends.
Ma Jaeyoon, Chief of Jeonnam Fire Headquarters, said, “We will devote all our efforts to preventing safety accidents so that examinees can safely and smoothly focus on the test,” and added, “If an emergency occurs on the test day, please immediately report to 119 to request help.”
