[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Daegu City announced on the 29th that it has prepared a comprehensive traffic management plan in collaboration with related organizations, including shortening the intervals of urban railway operations and deploying traffic order personnel in front of school test sites on December 3, the day of the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT).

This year, 24,402 examinees will take the CSAT at 49 test sites across Daegu.

Accordingly, Daegu City will establish a comprehensive traffic control center and organize traffic order teams and parking inspection teams for each test site, deploying 445 public officials and members of civic groups along with 48 pieces of equipment (34 patrol cars, 5 tow trucks, 9 transport support vehicles).

On the day of the CSAT, vehicle entry and exit will be restricted from 200 meters ahead of the test sites, and to alleviate road congestion caused by commuting vehicles, public institutions will delay their start time by one hour to 10 a.m.

Additionally, considering that 17 of the 49 test sites are located within the station areas of urban railway lines, the city will increase round-trip operations by 2 times (12 times total) per line, reducing the usual 6 to 9-minute intervals to about 5 minutes. Six additional emergency standby trains (1 at Wolbae, 1 at Ansim, 2 at Munyang, 1 at Chilgok, 1 at Beommul) will be prepared to respond to unexpected situations.

Nadeuri Call vehicles, which provide mobility convenience for transportation-vulnerable individuals, will operate free of charge on the day for examinees who are registered members and have applied in advance. Applicants must apply by December 1 through the call center (1577-6776) or the 'Nadeuri Call app'.

Yoon Jeong-hee, Director of the Daegu City Transportation Bureau, emphasized, "For the convenience of examinees and smooth traffic flow on the test day, please move illegally parked vehicles and facilities obstructing passage around each test site in advance, and general drivers are asked to actively yield to examinee transport vehicles."
