Lotte Hotel Yangon and Samara Win 'World Luxury Awards 2020'


[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Lotte Hotel Yangon and Lotte Hotel Samara announced on the 29th that they have been selected for the 'World Luxury Awards 2020'.


The 'World Luxury Awards' recognizes the best hotels and restaurants with world-class facilities and excellent services. The 'Hotel Awards' are selected through online voting by more than 300,000 overseas travelers annually, and the 'Restaurant Awards' by more than 100,000 overseas travelers.


Lotte Hotel Yangon, selected for the Hotel Awards, is famous for its building exterior shaped like a lotus flower beautifully blooming on a lake. It has 343 guest rooms, 4 restaurants, 11 banquet halls and meeting rooms, and facilities such as an infinity pool extending to the horizon of Inya Lake. The hotel explained, "The 337㎡ Royal Suite room, which includes 2 bedrooms, a private study, and a meeting-cum-dining space for up to 12 people, as well as 10 types of rooms, received favorable evaluations."


Lotte Hotel Yangon's all-day dining restaurant 'La Seine' was also named in the Restaurant Awards. La Seine offers over a hundred varieties of diverse dishes and desserts from around the world across 5 food stations.


Lotte Hotel Samara, a 5-star hotel in Samara City, Russia, was selected in the 'Luxury Banquet & Event Hotel' category. Samara has 12 banquet halls that can be arranged in various ways depending on the event purpose, and the Crystal Ballroom is the largest in Samara City, accommodating up to 1,400 people.
