On the 28th (Korean time), it was officially announced that "a historic strategic partnership has been established to open a new era of global golf." This agreement involves the PGA Tour acquiring a stake in European Tour Productions (ETP), the company that produces and distributes the European Tour's broadcast worldwide. They will also actively collaborate in other areas, including scheduling, prize money, and players' opportunities to participate in tournaments.

Jay Monahan, PGA Tour Commissioner, said, "We have strengthened our partnership with the European Tour," adding, "We will work together for the development of the tour and the enjoyment of golf fans worldwide." Keith Pelley, CEO of the European Tour, also expressed, "This partnership is a historic moment in professional golf," and "We look forward to exploring ways to advance together as the best sport."
