[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) held an "Emergency Countermeasure Meeting" at 2 p.m. on the 27th to strengthen preemptive COVID-19 quarantine measures.
At the emergency countermeasure meeting, Mayor Yu Seong-hoon, Vice Mayor Kim Young-sung, heads of departments, and related officials attended to review urgent matters to suppress the local spread of COVID-19.
As preemptive COVID-19 quarantine response measures, the following were discussed: ▲ Strengthening public service attendance management ▲ Reviewing the operation of public facilities and social welfare facilities ▲ Enhancing quarantine support for traffic measures during the College Scholastic Ability Test ▲ Strengthening disinfection in vulnerable areas ▲ Reinforcing the Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters.
Mayor Yu Seong-hoon of Geumcheon-gu said, "As the local spread of COVID-19 has intensified recently, the entire country, centered on the metropolitan area, is facing a crisis of the third wave of the pandemic," and instructed, "Each department should further strengthen COVID-19 response measures and promptly prepare effective plans for residents to respond preemptively."
The district plans to actively implement detailed measures according to the strengthened social distancing guidelines in the future.
