[Asia Economy Reporter Seongpil Cho] The hearing for the injunction application filed by Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol, who opposed the suspension of duties imposed by Minister of Justice Chu Mi-ae, will be held on the 30th.

The Administrative Court of Seoul, Administrative Division 4 (Chief Judge Mi-yeon Jo) designated the hearing date for the injunction application filed by Prosecutor General Yoon against Minister Chu for 11 a.m. on the 30th. The legal community expects the court to reach a conclusion quickly, considering the seriousness and unusual nature of the case.

If the court recognizes the urgent need to suspend the effect or execution of the disposition in an injunction case, it can deliver a verdict within a week. Earlier, on the afternoon of the 25th, Prosecutor General Yoon applied for an injunction to halt the effect of the suspension of duties, and the next day, he filed a lawsuit to cancel the suspension of duty order.
