Ram Technology Approved for Entry into Dangjin Seokmun National Industrial Complex

[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Eun-mo] Ram Technology announced on the 27th that its move-in to the Seokmun National Industrial Complex in Dangjin has been approved.

The Seokmun National Industrial Complex in Dangjin spans 4,526,000㎡ and was completed in 2015. It was developed as a complex industrial complex that harmoniously combines industrial functions with clusters of schools and research institutes, as well as residential, educational, business, and tourism and leisure functions.

Ram Technology plans to construct a new factory on a site of 23,948㎡ within the Seokmun National Industrial Complex, aiming for completion in the first half of 2022. Once completed, Ram Technology is expected to solidify domestic production and supply of hydrofluoric acid-related products, increasing production capacity from the current 2,100 tons per month to 13,000 tons per month, more than six times, enabling it to meet the diverse hydrofluoric acid demands of various customers.

A Ram Technology official stated, “We expect the annual production volume of hydrofluoric acid-related products to increase about sixfold through the construction of the new factory,” adding, “We will actively respond to the growing demand for domestically produced semiconductor chemical materials and customer needs, mass-produce localization technologies, and produce the highest quality high-purity hydrofluoric acid-related products.”

Established in 2001, Ram Technology manufactures key semiconductor industry chemicals, including etching solutions, stripping solutions, and cleaning solutions, which are essential materials in semiconductor manufacturing processes. The company is expanding into all IT-related industries such as LCD, OLED, secondary batteries, and solar cells, and was recently selected as one of the 'Top 100 Small and Medium Enterprises in Materials, Parts, and Equipment' by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
